Tractor fetched $470 before fees and sales tax. I was out at $440 and I talked to the guy who bought it. Local tractor addict, has a lot of them. Says motor is free and he plans to fix it. WFE main appeal. Lft rear wheel locked up getting it on the trailer. 10K Lb winch was stressed pulling it up the ramps or maybe the battery was weak. Anyway, skid steer got behind and shoved and while they were doing all that the wheel broke free a little bit. Came from a farm not far from me, had been sitting many years, owner died. Auction house took care of selling the estate.
For those asking about location, this was in Maryland--auction was a few miles away in a place called West Friendship which is between Baltimore and Frederick. Gregory Warfield auctions.
Boom pole sale was correct, only thing I almost always fail to do is figure sales tax on the selling price $70 PLUS the commission. That's the final price and it's what the tax is based on. It was a good buy for me, something I've wanted and needed. Very happy. Picked it up today, saw the guys loading up the Farmall Super C, talked to them and headed out.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
