Do not know anything about Thunder Creek but I can tell you about the hauling rules. You can haul as much diesel as you want as long as the tank size is smaller than 119 gallons. In tanks 119 gallons or bigger it becomes hazardous materials. The only limit you have is what your vehicle can scale in weight.
They also changed the tank rule a few years ago. Use to be any single tank above 1000 gallons. Now it is any quantity of 119 gallon tanks that add up to 1000 gallons. In other words four 250 gallon totes of water is considered a bulk tank now.
