20 years ago there was an old gentleman in our area that farmed 400 acres 1950s style with a JD R and IH 141. I rode with him one time on the 141 and what I remember is the engine fan blowing all the dust/chaff right at the operator. He sat on the seat turned a little to the left to shield himself. I stood further back out of the blast next to the grain tank.
