Was such a nice day Saturday,,I took the FORD for a ride to go get the disc that was at my friends property. He is done with it,,And I want to get it home to put it under cover for the winter.

Its about 4 miles to his place,,we are gonna head down that hill,,then make a left!

If you look careful,,youll see an old graintruck coming up the hill,,its around a 1967 chevy I believe

here we go!

we made it to my friends place,,hooked up the disc,,Might as well smooth out his 4 rows of potatoes. He dug them a few weeks ago.He didnt plant the whole plot,,so I just smoothed out the dug potato rows

Now we are headed home,,no traffic at all,,and good places to pull aside and take a few pics along the way,It wasnt safe coming down,,so ill take some on the way back

a pumkin feild ,,some pumpkins laying, probablly not good ones left aside

some horses grazing on a hillside pasture

A nice old bank barn

,,heres another nice barn along the way home

we went down the hill to get there,,made a loop and come home a different way,,going down hill now,,thats our neighbors farm in the valley

thats the Christmas tree farm to my right

and to the left is our little cottage

now Im coming to the top of the hill, just above were we headed downhill. We are coming to the old farm,,,my nephews now,,,but,,I have life rights to play there,,till I Croak,,//lol // the neighbor planted beans on some of the feilds,,he is harvesting today with his JD Combine
he has some young oats mowed and raked at the old farm too

Uncle Larry disked up the Sweetcorn and potato patch,,(some of the playing Im gonna do),,and the real work going on behind the FORD

Ok,,Im done,,the wife came and got me ,she said thats enough!!

,,my nephew can put the tractor away

Thank you all for joining me on my ride ,and playing today!!!!!!!!!

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener.
