I found a website that gave the jet part # for the TSX400. No one could provide the orifice size. More research on the part # led me to a website that listed AC carburetors and jet part #'s. I had seen a post on the book of faces of a guy that rebuilt carbs for AC's. He graciously gave me a jet of the original #. I had a feeling my issue was flooding out but I was not sure since the carburetor had been rebuilt. If you can't see the slot in your jet it could be partially stopped up. I would suggest removing the plug in front of the bowl drain plug and drill out the jet of the TSX400 as I did find several folk that said their BF had the same carb. Your carb may need a good cleaning. I am not a fan of fixed jet carbs but that is what I had to work with. Just need to find a .043 drill long enough to reach the jet. In my case the jet came out fairly easy as the carb had been rebuilt just not ran for several years.
