I got the Viair 00088 88P about 3 years ago. Don't know how I got along without it! I have a small lithium 12v battery that is very lightweight and lasts a long time. I use the battery to power the 12v compressor or any number of other 12v needs, such as remote 12v lighting.
One thing I can tell ya, it sure is a lot nicer taking the warm battery and compressor in a small tote bag (whether from house or warm truck cab) in the middle of Winter rather than hauling out a larger compressor!
For tractor tires, get a larger model. Mine is fine for front tires but you would want a beefier compressor for rears. Take care of it and you'll have a nice long-term investment.
And with Black Friday coming up, maybe you can find a deal.
