the tree came from montrose county south west of montrose, south west of delta off of the divide road on the "unc" (ubncompahgre plateau) montrose mayor actually cancelled the local viewing and then blamed the forest service who offered montrose viewers hats and trinkets in a town (ouray) south of montrose for a viewing there; unsure of why the mayor cancelled the event a week ago tuesday then blamed usda???? I hunt there, hike there, have fished there, log there, get fire wood there, dirtbike there, wheeler there, and am so proud that we were able to provide this for our country. I farm at the bottom of that mountain, we irrigatewith water runoff from that mountain. I am thrilled to have this accolade to our community.
