When CASE introduced the Case-0-Matic 100 series tractors they offered a promotional program to dealers where dealers could by trucks like that one from Case or they could go to their local car/truck dealer and buy a new truck and Case would give them a reimbursement. CASE also had complete decal sets available for both cab-overs and conventional trucks. Dad went to the local Chevy dealer and ordered a new Cab-over chassis with 292 six and 4 speed. He ordered a new Swartz tilt bed body for it and painted and decaled it like in the picture. He didn't opt for the under bed tool boxes and flaring though. The truck was badly under powered and under geared for our area, and after he blew a hole thru the side of the 292, he ordered another Chevy 60 series cab-over. It was a much heavier chassis and had a 427 with 5 & 2 trans and rear. We remounted the Swartz body onto that truck. As cab tractors and big 4X4 tractors became popular, I bought a used transtar SA and 220 Cummins with 10spd ranger to pull a Swartz single drop trailer with a hydraulic tail. The 60 Chevy got replaced by a Louisville L9000 with a 6-71 and 10spd, and the old Transtar got updated to a newer one with 318, air tag axle and 15spd, still pulling the 40' Swartz trailer.-----------------------------Loren
