Cub we bought a couple weeks ago has starter issues. When we first got it the starter was sparking and ground to a horrible death after a couple turns. My wife took it off, tore it apart and cleaned it good. It was amazingly clean inside. She used some emory cloth and cleaned it good. After she put it back on the tractor crunk up about 5-6 times then the sparks returned and it stopped again. Tapped it with a hammer handle and it spun a couple more times. Should we order a re build kit? It was easy enough to do. The brushes in this one aren't flat but have a pretty good angle on them. Any tips? Thanks.
