Been using walmart batteries in my (2) Ford 5000's, been getting 6-7 years out of them. Usually only got 3-4 years out of the 4DLT's that were supposed to be in there, and $40-50 cheaper. Note the rubber flap I put over the + terminal, these batteries are a little taller and it made me nervous.
Just replaced an 11 year old walmart battery in an 8n (12v conversion). Did buy the new battery from Rural King instead of Wally's due to price.
Speaking of Rural King batteries, my 398 Massey uses 2 in parallel. Bought RK batteries 4 maybe 5 years ago, still working fine.
