I never drank coffee until I was 24 and I was working at Ford Motor Company. Vending machine coffee with double cream and double sugar (or sweetner). After 8 years at Ford...I QUIT...not coffee, Ford. In one of my attempts to lose some weight, I switched to black coffee. I went to GM transmision manufacturing supervision in 1977, then to product assurance in 1984. When I was on the road, I would hit McD for coffee. They would ask if I wanted cream and sugar. I said no, I want it "extra black and no ice". ???? Poor kids. I want my coffee STRONG and HOT! I still say that from time to time. Since I retired in 2007, I was going to the local McD at 6am everyday to have coffee with earlybird guys. Now, McD closed to indoor seating, I make coffee every morning at home. I drink 2 cups, my wife drinks one up.
