I've told this story on here before. I have a JD 630 that a friend rolled over and burned up in about 1970. It burned every bit of rubber off of it - tires, hoses, steering wheel, float ride seat parts, shift and hydraulic knobs, all of the paint and other things that I've long forgotten. It was a rusty hulk that sat in a fence row for years until I convinced him to sell it. It was a couple year part time project. I guess I've touched every bolt on it. It now runs like it had never had a mishap. I use it nearly every day. I was young when I tackled the project. Now that I'm old, I don't think I would do it again.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
