Unfortunately that tractor wasent mine, it was at a big horse farm i worked at, we cleaned 60 stalls a day so we emptied the dump wagon 3 times a day, i tried to buy the tractor when the owner passed away and the place went up for sale, but they wouldn’t sell it, the bucket loader in the first pic belonged to the horse farm were i kept my horse and worked at for 30 years, they sold it, but i bought the 4610 in the bottom pic hooked to the baler. I just found out Wednesday the lady sold the farm, the new people want to keep me there doing the hay, hopefully that happens and they get horses 🐎 again, time will tell i guess.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
