Thanks. Yes all passed like that and wire brushed clean it appears pretty hard steel. I purposely did not get it red hot welding it and took my time. Gave it lots of peening for stress relief. I was thinking to put a gusset on the top for strength but don’t know if it would benefit due to the hardness ?Used 7018. I don’t do much welding only when have fix something.
