I'm not trying to get political, and this isn't a jab at any side. I'll just say this hasn't been about public health for a very long time. You have people dying in car accidents, from suicide, from a hundred different diseases all put down as "Covid Deaths" and the news laps it up and reports it as fact. You have huge multi-billion $$ companies making record profits while small businesses are going under. Liquor, beer and tobacco sales were never shut down Darn sure State Lottery sales weren't even slowed. Churches got shut down as did gun shops, shooting ranges, fraternal organizations (Marine Corps League/VFW). And of course we had to have a mess of laws changed to allow massive new (and often illegal) mail in voting as opposed to traditional absentee voting. Anyone that doesn't look at all that's been done and wonder at least a little about the objectives is willingly blinding themselves. Yes, the virus if real. Yes, it's a real risk to a certain segment of our population. Everything else is a game, and we're the pawns.
