Hp to pull the spreader is important, and the overall weigh to be able to handle the weight of the loaded spreader behind it. Not much of a concern if your land is flat, but not something to ignore if your farm is hilly. A loaded manure spreader can push a tractor around like a toy when going down a hill. Could push the tractor through the fence, or cause the tractor/spreader combination to jackknife, possibly overturning the tractor. The other main consideration would be hydraulic flow rate. As you state your spreader has a hydraulic apron, check the hydraulic flow capacity required to operate your manure spreader. While I am not familiar with the model spreader you have mentioned, I will show a picture of my Case 930 with the Hagendorn , which has a hydraulic powered push gate, not an apron. The 930 Case is right about 85hp with a 12 gal hydraulic pump, and weighs near 10,000 lb. I wouldn’t want any less tractor on this spreader. The engine has the power, but the tractor is nearing the weight limit, and you know that spreader is back there.
