My uncle bought an 1135 and a case 1270 new as a pair from the same dealer and had them set on the dyno at the same hp what ever that was. They both pulled 8-16s plows. The Massey had a hard time because it got so hot it would burn oil. Had the power, just got so hot it would burn a lot of oil. They figured the oil spray on the sleeves was burning off before the rings could wipe it off. That's what they said anyway. They just used the case for the tillage and the Massey on the lighter work and got along fine then. Wasn't long before the upgraded to four wheel drive.
