Dad bought one new ( diesel ) in 1969 or 1970. It was one of the biggest tractors in our area. It had a motor problem and went back to the dealer early. We had a loaner 1150. After the 1130 came back , no more trouble. It easily pulled the big six bottom plow it came with. We had a big winged disc also. And a large Kraus chisel plow. Dad farmed 570 acres with it , a JD 4020D and a few smaller tractors. The three point was kind of a hassle to changeover. The draw bar support assembly swings under the tractor and locks forward and out of the way. Dad was 5 ft tall. He had to crawl under there on his back , and kick the thing forward with both feet. We liked it as our big tillage tractor and to move bales in mud and snow. Was a sharp looking tractor.
