The older C series can still be useful but are less forgiving when baling and need drier hay conditions than newer balers. Also need full width windrows to get hay rolling and forming, you need to zig zag when starting the new bale until you see it has properly formed. If you're going to do smaller amounts, say less than 50 bales or so per cut, would think ok for you. If you can spend a little more consider the F and later 504 or 5400 models, need only about 40 pto hp to run them.
