That's pretty cool, literally LOL ! We skated this weekend on the large pond, ice was so so. That will be fun for her to learn, get some shin pads, elbow pads at least, should prevent injuries.
Pond ice is difficult to learn on opposed to rink ice, use care if going backward as if a skate catches an imperfection..... don't ask how I know lol !!
