i recently had to have an H block inline bored.. Turns out that one of the previous owners needed a tighter tolerance in the mains and 2 of the rods, so hejust filed the caps.. this made for a nece twist in the alignment of the crankshaft.. after all was said and done, the inline boring cost 300 on the block alone.. rather expensive, but when you need to keep the matching serial number motor, I guess it pays off.. The first step, is to get a n estimate as to the cost of the boring, and a new block, and go from there... good luck..
