I don't want to muddy the water on this, but keep in mind that there were both clockwise and counter clockwise 4 cylinder distribuitors available. That cam the flyweights fit around needs the correct part, as the opposite rotation flips the cam over. I think one from any 4 cylinder distribuitor from that Delco series would work.
Since you say you are a machinist, why don't you turn the o.d. of the point cam down enough to be true, then index the flats and cut them down a corresponding amount?
p.s. Don't run points with the white nylon rub blocks from now on, if you can do better. That's how one of mine got that way.
