I thought the post about Equpment dealerships from years ago was very interesting. So how far do you have to travel now to get to a farm equipment dealer for parts or new equipment. Within 30 miles of my gate I have , 2 JD stores under one owner, 2 CaseIH stores under one owner, 2 NH/Mahimdra/JCB dealer stores under one owner, 2 Kubota dealers with different ownership, 1 MF/Agco/Heston dealer, one Mckormick/Pottinger dealer and a MTZ/Belarus. All dealers have various short lines, like Anderson’s wrappers, Lemmkin tillage, Hardie sprayers . Several deal in TMR mixers and a wide range of lawn and garden. Don’t have to go far to spend money here, but only one tractor wrecker .

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
