The metal lines from the control valve to hyd motor are used because both the valve and motor are fixed to the frame and close together, so no movement is possible. The one to the cooler is metal until near the front, where it is attached to the cooler with a short piece of hydraulic return, not pressure, line. The tank to pump is a factory made hyd hose with crimped ends. That one really needs to be factory as the angle of the fittings can make it either very hard, or very easy to attach
Take a look at the manuals on the web site I posted. Full parts manuals with illustrations are there for viewing.
I have five of the Case and Ingersols of various years/models on hand to compare and have 'enjoyed' removing and replacing the lines a few times on several more.
Please rethink the solid metal lines. But, if you don't, be advised that the pressure side lines are all 1/2" and on most models return is 5/8". This is a 8-9GPM system at around 2300PSI and needs the volume the lines provide. The copper/nickel stuff is not readily available in that size. I have only seen 3/16, 1/4 and I think 3/8".
