I ordered a "new" or said to be new replacement part for my microwave oven. Since it is a built in unit over the stove, working on it is less than convenient.
The part that arrived showed signs of having been used previously. There were impressions that were obviously from screw heads on the mounting tabs and grooves on the spade terminals where the electrical connector attaches. I complained to the vendor, and was assured that the part was new and would function perfectly. I asked again for an explanation of why the part appeared to be used, and was offered a refund upon its return. I did opt for the return and refund.
I suspected that it had been "tried" on another appliance, but that explanation was not offered. Sorry, I'll pass on that one!
