I had a car one time I knew had water in it,when I got home tat afternoon the fan would only move a freckle. I started it and let it run for just a few minutes with the fan belt off.I shut it off and let it heat soak for a while. I did that a few times and when the radiator stared steaming just a little,I drained it and filled with antifreeze. It was fine, but it would have been a boat anchor by morning.
