Co2 is sold by weight,it really depends what you want to do with it.To run a Kegerator they use a 5# tank, they are about the size of a 2 liter soda bottle. For welding you need at least a 29# tank, they are the same size as a 60cf argon tank.If you buy an aluminum tank make sure it was made after 1994, or it was made by Carolina. The aluminum in some early tanks were brittle and are not to be refilled although a lot of places still fill them. Find the test date or the manufacture date before you by a tank,Co2 has to be retested every 5 years before it can be filled. You can buy them online but we will not fill a tank unless it has DOT numbers on it,some china tanks do not. I think if you go to Cyberweld.com you can see the differences.
