Yesterday I attended the Dade Estate sale near Schell City,MO..I go to the same church with the late owners brother...The temperature was 44 degrees and this was the first nice day since Feb 6th...Between Feb 7th and Feb 19th it pretty much had been below freezing...In that time period we had from 6-12 inches of snow...On Monday morning Feb 15 it was as low as -12 degrees followed by as low as -20 degrees on Tuesday morning Feb 16th...We are far enough south that we usually only see temperatures like that every 20-30 years or so..Lots of winters we never get below zero..
There was a huge crowd and things sold great for this area..Most of the stuff on the sale was well cared for..None of the tractors were real high hours and were used on a cattle farm...The 4 big AC's all had like new tires...I saw many people that I knew from both near and far away...The sale started at 10 AM and was over at 4 PM.. The 7020 Allis with 4364 hours sold for $10,700 The 7000 Allis sold for $7,300 The 200 Allis with 18.4x38's and loader sold for $9,000..It had 5700 hours. The 200 Allis with loader and 18.4x34's sold for $8,250
One of the nicest D-17 Series 4 Allis gas tractor that I have ever seen sold for $3500...Original paint and had 6 hours on it since 2015. The CA Allis on the left sold for $500 and the C Allis on the right sold for $325
The running 2670 Case sold for $2,000 This non running Ford Jubilee sold for $750. The 1997 Ford F-250 4WD with Cannonball bale bed sold for $7,000...It was a 460,4 speed, with 235,000 miles.. The Ford L-9000 road tractor sold for $5,500..It had a 300 Cummins and ran nice..
It will only let me post 10 pictures at one time so I will be back with 10 more..
