Couple things?? I think you are on the right track, I may have a valve you could use. Depending on how you plumb it. I am not an Allis guy, but just wonder if your PTO continues to run when you push in the clutch to stop your travel. If so then you would have to shift into neutral and let up on the clutch to raise the loader. If that is the case I would try to mount the pump to drive off of the front of the crankshaft. Just saying that because I have a CA that I am mounting a mower on. I plan to run the mower with the PTO, but I can stop my forward travel with the lever that will disengage the right wheel if the mowing gets to tough.
