Seller had the JD and ford 850..... Wasn't sure about the Ford, maybe wasn't telling the whole story. Pouring rain on Friday and wasn't going that way until Saturday so I knew it was possible someone might brave the storms. I did want to buy a 6 ft landscape rake, $125, I even offered to PayPal him the money......well first guy there bought it all. Tractors, rake, plow, disk, dirt scoop, box blade..... Oh well. Wasn't meant to be. I did get a nice '47 8n from Tracy Brown. And a set of 8 brand new cultivator sweeps and a couple shank brackets. My wife bought the big stainless steel tub/tray. Says when we rebuild parts it will help keep everything in one place. Mick bought a stop sign!
Tractor was running poorly and the guy Tracy bought it from had taken it to a heavy machinery mechanic to tune it up...... well they never got to it and guy sold it to Tracy. He charged battery and it spins over nice, just wouldn't fire up. All the rain Fri probably got that front distributor damp. Dry it out and file points. Hope to fire it up after church. Stay tuned!
