There is one BTO and several well financed wannabe's around here. If you are going to bid rent based on production you will be sent down the driveway of a potential landlord every time. And a vast majority of the ground is not that good. One guy did well this summer in a hard drought on one farm where as if we have a normal to wet year that farm will be lucky to yield 20 bushels per acre of soybeans and corn is a poor risk there.
