Please reread my comments. I'll add on that the landlord that this bragger rents from already is getting top dollar that nobody else would match. The landlord is one of the previously mentioned mercenaries that owe no loyalty to a tenant. A tenant could make a multi-year investment (if he was that dumb) in tile and lime and that landlord at the end of the one year rental term would again seek top dollar and would rent to a different farmer if that farmer paid top dollar. NO consideration would be made for the tile. Further, the landlord in this case loves having his ego stroked and claiming unachievable yields is a huge ego booster for him.
