I would agree with Coonie. I have a Great Plains end wheel drill-not a no till drill. I have drilled rye into corn silage ground after harvest, rye into both soybean stubble and corn stalks and oats into soybean stubble and gotten along fine. Soil conditions are the key. It sounds like you dont have a huge number of acres to cover so Im confident it will work ok. There may have been small, hi traffic areas that had a thin stand but overall always acceptable.
