Maybe in the 30 40s and 50 when Deere and cat had some joint ventures going with some cat dealers selling John Deere tractors and Deere selling some cat tractors and cat sold Deere their combine line . Deere is still Deere although now Deere is owned more buy share holders than the Deere family unlike tenneco ih fiat have they changed their name this week ?
