This is the machine I have to hedge the tops of apples & peaches. Durand-Wayland (Georgia) built these in the 1970's. Most were shipped to Florida for citrus work. It's a heavy machine with a "universal mount" on any tractor heavy enough to support it. It's mounted with massive plates with three beefy turnbuckles on each side across the axle housings of the tractor, then hitched to the lower 3-point arms set completely down and another strong connection to the drawbar. The saw blades are powered by one hydraulic motor and a stepped-belt arrangement to each saw blade shaft. A PTO hydraulic pump powers the motor.
