EVs will prove out to be the filthiest vehicles on the planet. If just for the fact that the cobalt for their batteries is mined by children in Africa. And that the spent batteries will end up back in Africa to be stripped by children of any metal of value. If there is one thing a do gooder tree hugger doesn't care about, it's the land fill of the world called Africa. Where do you think the "recycled" electronics end up? Burning in a ravine in Africa, that's where.
