You're right SHE HAD NO IDEA she just works there and does as she's told. I admire young kids who have a job... HOWEVER you still have choices remember, you can refuse to give it in which case they may or may not (maybe its law (which I would respect) maybe not ??) sell you the item or you can shop elsewhere. Im often asked for my e mail or phone number or DOB etc (NOT talking beer or liquor here) to which I very politely refuse and so far they still take my money but if they don't want my business that's their choice no problem...
