In 1977, I had worked for my Dad for 6 years, and my wife and I were planning to buy our own farm. FmHA was selling out some of their poorer risks, and one sale had a JD 3010. I had saved up enough money to pay cash for it. Later in '77, I paid cash for a Farmall M and Allis D-14, both private deals. Those were the 3 tractors we started with, but it took until 1980. Still have the wife, 3010, and M.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
