My son is looking at getting a project 460. He's 19 and this would be his first project. It rolled sideways down a small hill, twice; first was the accident (nobody hurt, luckily!), second was a failed recovery attempt that same day. Supposedly the engine had just been rebuilt and it had no other issues. It's been sitting 10 - 12 years. We looked at it a couple days ago. The engine will not spin by trying to turn it with the fan. Whatever the levers are to the right of the steering wheel... I think there were 4 and 2 are broken off. Also, the right axle housing is broken up next to the center section. We think we found the other rear rim & tire lying nearby. I'd guess it to be maybe $400 - $500 scrap value? We're in south central Hichigan; I haven't hauled in any scrap for a couple years and not sure what current prices are. How hard would it be to find another axle housing? What are the chances that the axle shaft got bent or damaged anything in the differential/center section?

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
