did you flip the tractor on its side so you could fill the chambers with ATF to check for the valves to be seating??? how could it be holding for days when you were loosening the valves yesterday. plus its only a few minute test! more bull kaka flying here. i will bet money that once sqeezing valves and hammering on them they will not hold ATF not yet something like diesel or gas in those old seats full of rust. yep cracking me up too.
