I have had AAA for about 15yrs. It works very well and both our daughters now have it also. They have saved my butt several times. Ran out of gas in the middle of the night in a heavy snowstorm in NW Iowa (kinda stupid on my part, but long story).....guy came out with 5gal. Moving our daughter from Oregon to Chicago.....trans went out of their Subaru.....I was driving a Penske rental truck.....neither vehicle actually covered by AAA but I was a member and after several calls, they towed the Subaru and got us to car rental at airport to continue trip.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
