When it works it works well. My area was a dry hole for a long time they now have a good local contractor. I have been a member for 35 years I was a contractor for 12 years. When I threw in the towel I was broke with a worn out tow truck. If members patronize your business its a win win when they don't you are working for peanuts.
It was a life saver for me when my kids went off to collage they were 55 miles away I had AAA tow it to me I kept working did not have to lose a day going after their car. My daughter has had numerous flats AAA has always worked well. The last time she was 200 miles away I used the 100 free tow. I hooked up my trailer and meet them at the 100 mile mark. Its a long story about why the flat had to be towed I can say the AAA was great I gave him a nice tip...
I tell folks I hope you don't need it but if you do you have someone to beach at it it goes bad... Tow trucks can charge all they can get with AAA you have some protection.
