I have towing insurance, through auto insurance. Have used it one time, wife's Edge would not turn over,(old and bad battery). After sitting on charge and trying to jump start with truck, could not get it to turn over. I spent more time on the phone, getting a tow, than it would have taken me to drive to town and returned with a battery. But by then I was determined to cash in on the service paid for. Rollback finally got there and I knew the driver. He got the car to my repair guy with no problem. The next time I needed a tow my truck popped a brake line, I went through an argument with the dispatcher (if you could call them that) they wanted to send a service from 50 miles away and after waiting for a long time, I called them off, filled the master cylinder and drove to repair service. Might have an interesting claim if i had wrecked. As for AAA I could NOT get an answer if they would or would NOT tow my truck with a bumper pull trailer with tractor. I donot want to pay for something that will not provide the service I need. SO your call!! joe

This story is about the day my Grandfather Brown (true name) decided along with my parents to purchase a new Ford tractor. It wasn't really new except to us. The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
