BC ..... to convert Bruce's Canadian litres and dollars to US dollars and gallons ....
1)Take his price per litre and multiply it by 3.78 (there are 3.78 litres in a US gallon) and then multiply that answer by 0.8 (it takes $0.80 US or 80 cents US to buy a Canadian dollar).
So his price of say $1.29 per litre for gas station gas, here goes:
1.29 x 3.78 x 0.8 = $3.90 USD for a US gallon of gas at the pumps. Not cheap, but nothing is cheap these days.
