As I've posted before,if you don't want major repairs on your engine drivetrain use DIESEL OIL in all your flat tappet tractors, which is anything built before 1985 for sure.The EPA made oil manufactures reduce the zinc content to below levels needed for our older tractors and vehicles,THEY CLAIM IT DAMAGED CAT.CONVERTERS,diesel still has acceptable limits but I add a little zinc additive in each tractor to make certain I don't get a camshaft and lifter failure like I did in my small block Chevy along with thousands of other old car buffs that had the same result. Edelbrock said it's been a nightmare for all the after market suppliers when I called them a couple years ago about my problem and I don't have anything high performance in my vehicle.
