I'm with you DR, especially since the poster did the restoration. Beautiful work by the way. Maybe he got paid from his dad for restoring it, that might be a factor. Funny, when I hear of things where a son or daughter buys something from their mom or dad, it just sort of puzzles me. Unless of course another sibling is gonna get their nose out of joint and the financial balance books in the estate are an issue. Maybe the poster though wants to avoid any of that possible conflict. What is it worth? Hmmm, how long is a piece of string? Some might say $2000, somebody else says $6000, either one means nothing really.
