I have the impression that a TRUE value has to be in an "arm's length" transaction. So I will disregard the family relationship, and money that may have changed hands during the whole process up to this point. I see the "value" of this BN as being an average condition BN adjusted for condition but only so far as it is realistic that someone is likely to come along that will pay the premium. The N variant of the B would add maybe $400.00. The automotive quality paint job would probably add $1500.00 to an average condition tractor at Mecum's. The full mechanical restoration should add approx. $1,000. extreme extras such as custom decals and the filled finish on the cast iron would probably not increase the value. Premium for tires that are well above average should be worth $400.00. My figure: $4900. This value is of course dependent on finding a buyer but I think that given today's market that it could easily bring $4900 at Mecum's. We all know that the best measure of anything's value on a given day is at an auction that is appropriate for the item.
