I bought this one at a well attended consignment sale for $950. Only thing I added was the second seat/platform, and the sissy bar/headrests in the back. It already had a decent paint job (but not as fancy as yours) and excellent tires, and ran well. I only wanted it for parades, not as a work tractor. I would put a family sale value of $1500-1800 on yours. The extra work on the castings really doesn't add much to the value. Replacing bearings-type-stuff does add value, but there is a limited market for a tractor like a BN. As far as Mecums as a standard of value, I look at the prices they get as trading 2 of my $500 cats for your $1000 dog. People that have done well in life have enough money to pay whatever it takes to get something they want.

I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
