Its an E model, so they are stripped down to offer a lower priced competitive market. An M series, with cab comes with one (1) rear remote. The valve you are looking into is not just the valve. Comes with the control lever, hoses, couplers and bracket to mount said coupler. It will also have the longer bolts and hardware to mount the valve in between the the cover you need to remove and housing. Its a stackable valve, so if you want to add another you can. By the way, JD is no better. On the 5000 series, if you wanted to add another valve, say 2 to 3, you had buy the 3, and then throw your 2 valve away. I see on the 5R series they finally went to stackable. On e series JD compact utility, on the 3 point lift linkage, they don't give you that float option anymore, so if your using say a 3 point rear blade for plowing snow, plan on digging into the blacktop when you angle it. On most JD compact, to get a remote, maybe 1 will maybe be cable, or maybe it will be an electric switch, and then for multiple you just get more switches. All about competing to get to the bottom. Why did JD quit putting rack & pinion on their tractors? Years ago they all had it, and its slicker than heck. But now, you can only get as an option, on the more expensive lines, but nothing offered for the E or M 5000 series as well as some 6000 series.
