Back when I sq baled with wire I think 2 boxes of wire would bale around 700 sq bales so about 350 sq bales per box of wire. The bale count per box is determined by set bale length. I sold my wire baler last yr. Quality control on baling wire is not near as good as it was 40-50 yrs ago. Wire manufacturers put less oil on the wire also.
